Information ICAIO collects

Please do not submit special-category information, confidential credentials or sensitive client data through a website form.
Why the information is used
ICAIO uses submitted information to review and respond to your request, provide the audit or information you asked for, decide whether a project may be a suitable fit, maintain necessary business records and protect the website from misuse.
The lawful bases are steps taken at your request before a possible contract, ICAIO's legitimate interests in responding to genuine business enquiries and operating a secure website, and consent where you actively choose optional marketing. Service providers and transfers
The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify processes and securely stores form submissions so ICAIO can review them. ICAIO may also use email and business-software providers to respond to an enquiry or manage a client relationship. These organisations process information under their own terms and appropriate data-protection arrangements.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, ICAIO relies on an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards for restricted transfers. You may ask ICAIO for more information about the relevant safeguard.
How long information is kept
Enquiry and audit information is reviewed periodically and kept only while it is reasonably needed to respond, manage the relationship, maintain necessary records or establish and defend legal claims. Unsuccessful enquiries are normally removed within 24 months. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe, ICAIO stops sending updates or the information is no longer useful.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing. These rights can have lawful limits.
